The Family Banking Relationship Manager is so much more than just a Relationship Manager – they offer full service banking and wealth management and take a holistic approach to not only individuals, but the whole family.

The Family Banking Relationship Manager actively manages a segmented portfolio of members while consistently delivering a best-in-class experience. You will provide financing and investment advice to members and recommend personalized solutions for mortgages, consumer loans, lines of credit, protection, credit cards, term deposits, registered plans and mutual funds.

Do you value flexibility? We do too. In this role you can design your own schedule and meet with members during or outside of regular business hours based on the member’s preference for when and where.

What you’ll do.

  • Proactively build relationships with members in a dedicated portfolio to understand their total financial goals and needs, while ensuring overall performance of the portfolio.
  • Expand existing member relationships to retain and increase market share.
  • Ensure your members are in the best products to help them achieve their goals – whether it is buying a new car, their first home, saving for retirement or sending their kids to school. You are there to offer support and advise them every step of the way.
  • Support Chilliwack and Sardis branches

What you’ll need.

  • Mutual fund licensed (IFIC) designation is required
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent knowledge of daily banking and investment products and services
  • Well-developed knowledge of consumer lending products and underwriting
  • In-depth knowledge of wealth management and protection products
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in an environment of ongoing change and fast-paced teams
  • Active within your community and eager to make a difference through volunteerism
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong referral networks, cultivate visibility and increase business
