We’re hiring a Human Resource Manager!

Position Overview

As an influencer, the Human Resource Manager provides leadership and guidance on all human resource matters and is responsible for the development and delivery of strategic initiatives which attracts, develops and retains a highly engaged workforce. Implements programs that build employee knowledge, skills and capabilities to support the strategic direction of ACU, in the delivery of financial solutions that enhance our member’s financial well-being.

Oversees the Human Resource team and activities including recruitment, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, development and communication to support the overall health and effectiveness of the organization.

Role model’s leadership, promoting and living ACU’s values, and fostering a culture where members are at the centre of decision making, employees are knowledgeable and ACU is recognized as a committed community partner.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum five years’ human resource and organizational development experience
  • Direct leadership experience for a minimum of three years
  • Financial services experience and Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR or previously CHRP) would be an asset
  • Combined experience and post-secondary education in the areas that are directly related to our business will be considered
