Reporting to the President & CEO, the Senior Vice President (SVP) provides strategic leadership for all Member-impacting departments including Retail, Commercial, and Wealth Management, with the overall goal of maximizing the member’s experience. In collaboration with a tight-knit senior management team, the SVP develops and executes both short and long-term visioning for the Member department to ensure operational efficiency, financial performance, growth of the team, and to truly differentiate Northern from its competitors. 

As an ideal candidate, you possess a relevant university degree combined with a minimum of 10 years of progressive financial industry and team leadership experience.  Northern will benefit from your demonstrable track record of driving exceptional consumer experiences throughout an organization, as well as your deep knowledge of wealth management, retail, and commercial sales management. As Northern continues its journey of technological innovation, your experience with e-Commerce and digital solutions will prove invaluable. Perhaps most importantly, you are a passionate, motivated and strategic senior leader who can inspire, coach, and lead a highly focused and effective sales team to excellence in member service. Your outstanding communication skills and ability to express ideas clearly to a diverse group of stakeholders are complimented by exceptional planning, organizational, and project management expertise. You are creative, innovative, and solutions-oriented with a natural bias to action and desire to challenge the status quo while being able to remain true to the values and philosophy of a cooperative financial institution where people are at the core of everything it does.
