An exciting opportunity exists, for an experienced Manager, Operations to join our team.  At ABCU Credit Union Ltd. The Manager, Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the contact center, compliance and estates.  This role develops procedures for all functions of the organization and provides back-up in the CAMLO and Privacy areas working with the VP, Operations to oversee all items with respect to the following compliance regimes: Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Privacy, Occupational Health & Safety.

  • Use your strong interpersonal and relationship skills to develop a purposeful approach to Operations. Be the expert when it comes to developing policy and procedures consistent with the business strategy.

  • Seek ways that your role can support the member experience through active engagement with all leaders.

  • Act as the on-site expert when working with internal and external issues in compliance and estates

  • Use your superior knowledge of operations to assist in managing and monitoring of ABCU’s operations. Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met in the areas of your control and the credit union remains aligned to its risk profile and Enterprise Risk Management Policy.

  • Model a high level of technical proficiency in all areas of operations. Demonstrate accountability to the credit union by establishing and successfully implementing annual objectives.

  • Be a champion of leadership, seek out ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Using your expertise and interpersonal skills, engage other leaders to drive costs down through improved efficiencies.

  • Actively lead, coach and drive business results for the contact center aligned to our business model. Strive to achieve high levels of member satisfaction and education in an effort to increase member participation levels.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management or related field.

  • Two to four years relevant operations experience in the financial services industry.

  • Ability to work with a high level of detail/accuracy.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication skill.s

  • Possession of key competencies, including conflict management and decision making.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other programs.

  • A combination of skills and experience will be considered.
