Branch Manager (Surrey, BC)

The Branch Manager leads the executive operation of a branch including wealth and loan portfolios and maintaining profitable growth by developing a strong, high performing team. Under your capable leadership you will be responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring and developing your staff to provide top notch service and advice to our members. You will be the champion responsible for business development and being a leader in your community.

What you’ll do: 

  • Developing and maintaining the profitable growth of the branch by setting challenging but realistic branch goals and objectives, creating annual business plan and leveraging your own business building ability to drive success in the branch.
  • Managing the overall branch operation including both the wealth management and loan portfolios.
  • Coach, develop and mentor all branch staff. Oversee the hiring, training and development, performance management and motivation of the team.
  • Responsible for overall compliance and satisfactory audit ratings on deposits, wealth management, security and lending.
  • Establishes a high personal standard of performance and service by actively participating in other duties assigned, including educational seminars and training programs.
  • Actively participate in business development promoting Propsera through centres of influence, community events and proactive networking.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in leadership or management roles in the financial services industry
  • Seasoned and expert business developer, loves to build relationships and drive results
  • An inspirational coach and people-developer, demonstrated by the growth of your team members
  • A collaborator, with understanding of Wealth Management, who can manage cross-functionally to drive business activities and sales performance
  • Self-aware, welcoming of feedback, and committed to development and ongoing learning
  • Embedded in your community and care deeply about increasing financial literacy
  • Experienced Change Management agent, helping staff positively and professionally deal with and accept change
  • Able to find humour; using the positive in situations to find better outcomes
  • A person who truly wants to make a difference for others
