Cornerstone Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated, independent self-starter to join our Marketing & Communications team. This position will analyze our data to identify trends and insights so we can grow our business and better serve our members.

Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Communications, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for research, analysis, design and development of advanced business intelligence and data analytics for the credit union, utilizing the Microsoft Power BI tool. They will research, test, interpret and validate data to understand and provide recommendations for implementation of new credit union system platforms, processes, project specific software and products. They will contribute to the financial success of the credit union by identifying and recommending strategic and tactical direction gathered a result of their analysis. This position is full time (37.5 hours per week) and for an approximate one year term, which could be shortened or lengthened depending upon organizational requirements.

What we are looking for. . . . .

This person will have a strong knowledge in data analysis and business intelligence development; they will have a clear understanding of business requirements and be able to translate those requirements into technical and data requirements. They will have knowledge of MS Power BI and Excel and experience with SSRS and MS SQL Server is an asset. They will generate professional reports and specialize in understanding the data contained, highlighting trends of importance in making credit union management business decisions. The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in Commerce, Business, Information Systems, Mathematics or Statistics plus a minimum of four to six years of job-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must possess exceptional communications and interpersonal skills, advanced research skills, and have a highly analytical mindset, excelling in critical thinking. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required.

This position is out of scope. Location of work may be at any of the credit union's nine branches in Saskatchewan, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to enter into a *work from home agreement after completion of their probationary period.
