We are looking for an insightful, proactive and future oriented professional to provide leadership in establishing and leading the strategic direction of a multi-functional, integrated business unit that contributes to SaskCentral’s success by providing high quality, client-focused professional business and consulting services that meet the needs of credit unions nationally.  

The Job

As part of SaskCentral’s Senior Management Team, the AVP, Professional Services & Solutions is responsible for developing and employing a services delivery and consulting model that attracts emerging markets, maintains existing markets and provides innovative business solutions for the credit union system on a national level.  You will provide leadership to improve profitability by retaining business, generating scale, pursuing new business expansion, and establishing, and maintaining strategic relationships. You will apply resourceful business development, service delivery excellence and relationship management principles, practices and techniques, to support the achievement of market growth. You will also proactively develop and maintain an internal and external network of resources that effectively generate prospects for new business and prospective clients for future execution.

The Candidate
You are a highly effective and engaging leader who values a strong organizational culture that fosters the delivery of high quality services to staff and stakeholders. You have a degree in Business Administration/Commerce or Finance complemented with 10 years progressive experience. You have a strong level of understanding of best practices for business solutions delivery and professional services consulting models. Experience leading in a consulting services environment is an asset. Sophisticated knowledge of the Canadian credit union system and system partners would be an asset.  Advanced knowledge of business strategy formulation, business planning and implementation, as well as change processes are requirements for this position. The ability to build and sustain relationships will be important to your success in this role. You will be required to have extensive experience leading people. Travel is also a requirement of this role.
