Senior Business Analyst 

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and collaborative professional who will serve as a key liaison between our business partners and the Information Technology teams. This position applies business analysis, testing oversight and project planning in the delivery of technical solutions to serve our client’s strategic needs. If you have advanced experience and knowledge in the different phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) this may be the position for you.

The Job

Reporting to the Manager, Business Applications & Support you will be responsible to plan and manage all requirements tasks on a project.  You will facilitate solution sessions, presenting and collaborating with business and IT partners in order to deliver solutions that meet our client’s business needs. You will play a key role in the development and oversight of all testing practices within the organization.  You will champion our Business Analyst continuous improvement practices at SaskCentral by researching best practices, devising improvements and piloting new techniques.  You will also lead key stakeholders through the various phases of a project delivery lifecycle.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Business Administration or Computer Science coupled with 5 years of Business Analyst experience.  Candidates with Accounting and Financial system experience is desirable.  You have solid knowledge of business analysis, project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, processes and tools. You are an exceptional communicator, facilitator and have the ability to build relationships with different levels of stakeholders. You also have advanced research and analytical skills complemented with experience in change management processes. Experience within the credit union system and/or the financial services sector would be an asset.
